New laser marking system for our crimp cartridges

The DGUV-regulation 113-015 for the safe use of hose pipes stipulates that all hose manufacturers are obliged to mark all crimp cartridges with the following details: name of manufacturer, year, month and dynamic operating pressure.
So far the marking was carried out by our classically automatic scribing machine without computer control which is also used in future. The additionally new fibre laser marking system by RÖLTGEN is easier regarding the handling in comparison to traditional lasers. A particularly high quality result in terms of durability of the laser source (approx. 50,000 hours), the excellent efficiency factor, the good processing of the components and the resulting clean marks are the convincing characteristics. This computer-controlled fibre laser is almost maintenance-free, compact and not affected by external factors. Röltgen`s closed systems are able to mark almost all metals and plastics at a very high speed.
In addition to the marking system we have also installed a smoke extraction system which sucks out any dirt and steam arising from the laser process in order to avoid the contamination of the laser. The purchase of an automatic feeding is planned in the short term so that it is possible to label several hundred crimp cartridges passing through the laser marking system.
The advantages are obvious! The new laser marking system makes it possible to easily mark crimp cartridges of all sizes – even the very small ones. It guarantees a better readability of the marking and a possible deformation of the crimp cartridges is completely ruled out.
Our goal is to become still better and better every day!

R+M also goes green - we protect our environment

In October 2014 all fluorescent lamps at Suttner have already been replaced by LED. R+M now catches up on this change as the replacement to LED was effected in December 2015. This is our personal contribution to a better environment! By means of this investment in the future amounting to € 80,000 we avoid an annual emission of 50,400 kilos of carbon dioxide or 67.2 gramms of radioactive waste. Moreover, we succeed in reducing our power costs by more than 60 %!

R+M goes green! And the fact that we are again the pioneer with this change is really something to be proud of.

powershield365+ - HP-hoses for highly abrasion charged application areas

The high-pressure hoses powershield365+ make it possible that R+M / Suttner has the ideal solution for highest stress on rough, highly abrasion charged floors in industry, agriculture or in the mining sector. The powershield365+ convinces by its light weight and its brazen high-tensile wire braids which are very resistant to pressure. The standardised EN/ISO 6945 abrasion test determining the wear behaviour of rubber hoses shows that the very abrasion-resistant UHMPE-coating achieves best abrasion resistance of the surface.

The excellent bending and sliding behaviour guarantees effortless handling and working. The interior and surface made out of synthetic rubber are oil-, UV-, ozone-resistant and weatherproof. The suitable temperature range is from -40 und +100 °C.

Our greyflex high pressure hose is the ideal solution for the food industry and swimming pools as it fulfils highest requirements to hygiene and ergonomics. It has a brass plated wire braid and an extremely stain-resistant surface.
Our easyfarm365+ high pressure hose is our special development for the professional cot and machine cleaning which convinces by easy application on rough floors and under hardest conditions. New sewer cleaning hoses sewerclean365+ and sewerstar365+ in our range

After having informed you about the extension of the product line sewer cleaning and pipe cleaning nozzles in our last newsletter several customers were interested to know if there are also suitable sewer cleaning hoses available. Today, our answer is „Yes“! You can choose between two different, professional hose series.

The sewerclean365+ is an orange PU sewer cleaning hose with a two-fold braid of highly tearproof synthetic fibres and an extremely abrasion- and cut-resistant polyurethane cover is ideally designed for equipping sewer cleaning vehicles. Its especially smooth interior made out of thermoplastic elastomer guarantees a lower pressure loss as customary rubber sewer cleaning hoses. The lower weight makes a higher loading of your vehicles and a faster working possible. The sewerclean365+ hose available in DN 12 is suitable for a working pressure of up to 280 bar and a temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C.

The sewerstar365+ is a blue rubber sewer cleaning hose that is available in DN 8, 10 and 12. It has a wire braid and its smooth interior and cover are made out of NR/SBR. All benefits of a professional rubber sewer cleaning hose are fulfilled. The especially developed rubber compound guarantees an extremely long operating life, high abrasion-resistance and high flexibility. Its easy handling, low weight, great flexibility, pressure-resistance and excellent tensile strength confirm that the sewerstar365+ fully matches the high requirements within the working area of sewer cleaning. Moreover, this new hose development convinces by a very low bending radius and an extremely abrasion-resistant, ageing resistant and weather-resistant surface.

Underbody washing prolongs the operating life of your vehicle

Winterly dirty weather really makes your vehicle looking awful: salt is sticking on the car paint and a layer of dirt blinds the windows! The one who does not know a lot about cars first limits only to the upper and visible parts if he thinks about the regular maintenance of his car. But, the regular care of the car should really comprise the cleaning of the underbody in order to prolong the operating life of the vehicle. The ADAC recommends to remove any salt deposits from the underbody by means of high pressure or a special underbody washing. This is somehow hard to realize in the self-service car wash as only a few washing areas are equipped with a hydraulic lift. At the end of the cold season it is really worth driving to one of these low frequented outdoor washing areas and cleaning your car by means of our newly developed self-service underbody lance ST-97.1.

This underbody lance can be easily integrated into the existing high pressure train of the car wash. By means of the underbody lance the user easily reaches all edges of the underside of the vehicle. The smoothly running plastic castors enable an effortless manoeuvring. The flat jet high pressure nozzles being integrated in the axis are dimensioned in the way that they guarantee a sufficient cleaning effect without affecting moving parts, brakes or electric components. In order to prevent any damage of the high-quality car body the stainless steel lance is covered with a soft plastic coating.

For 2015 the Chamber of Industry and Commerce has presented a certificate to us for excellent performance regarding the professional training. This is really something to be proud of and it assures us of the fact that our high demand for quality regarding the professional training within our company group is successfully met.
In this connection, we would also like to thank our outstandingly motivated trainees who mainly contribute to this recognition. Special mention is given to Britta Kniprath who completed her training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant with great success by reaching the top mark.
Our decision is to train our skilled employees that are needed tomorrow by ourselves. We primarily pursue the goal to take over our trainees after having successfully passed and to integrate them into our family-owned company group in the long term.
