01 News Personnel strenghtening at R+M At present we are unhesitatingly in the position to state that we are going through good times in the economic scheme of things. Nevertheless, we are making this statement with caution as everybody of us knows that the prospect may change rapidly. Good times create more work and new activities! An increasing volume of work requires personnel strengthening so that we would like to introduce our new staff members to you today. Mr. Kai Viehrig started working for us three months ago and he is chiefly responsible for our complaint management. His area of responsibility comprises the entire processing of returns and complaints as well as the maintenance of our quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008. The processing of a complaint is an extremely sensitive area which calls for emphatic professionalism. We really aim at reaching optimization! In case that you should have reason for complaint some day Kai Viehrig supports you as he is your reliable contact person. He makes a simple processing possible and you receive immediate assistance. Ms. Anja Biskup backs up our team of the order entry and billing. This department greatly supports our sales department. The staff members in charge at customer`s have sufficient time this way to deal with your enquiries while the team above-mentioned enters your orders into our system so that a prompt processing is guaranteed. In peak periods you may have the pleasure of talking to this department - we promise a friendly and obliging address at any time. Mr. Robin Middeldorff started his training as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant with wholesaling as specialization on 1 August 2010. He is gradually leaded to all tasks which he entirely fulfils in future. So it may be the case that he answers the phone when you are once calling. He either puts you through to your responsible contact person or directly helps you with your request. Mr. Lukas Götz also started his training as a skilled worker for storage logistics. During the three year training phase he gets to know all logistical processes in our warehouse and is involved in different planning and organizational processes. We are anxious to offer young people the opportunity to make their first step into working life and to discover their own potential. We trust that you may have every confidence in our new staff members so that there is nothing to stop the pleasurable cooperation with you in the future. We are convinced that you see shortly that you are in good hands. True to the motto: Your requirements are our strengths! Discover the sunny side with R+M / Suttner Here you see that the little ones of today are pretty clever! They have quite easily converted our umbrella to be intended for stormy days into a sunshade. After having had a look at this picture we were in a very good mood and started to philosophize a little bit. Our thoughts were the following: That`s right, R+M / Suttner does not let you get caught in the rain but shows you the sunny side by providing you with high quality and technically mature products as well as with an excellent service, competent advise and outstandingly friendly customer liaison and support. For sure, the little boys did not have these thoughts - we hope that they enjoyed eating their ice cream under our converted umbrella and would like to thank them very much for their amusing and exhilarating contribution. Greetings from Heiligenhaus! Inventory 2010 Due to the fact that we are taking inventory on Friday, 26 November 2010, our company will be closed. Of course, your orders can be sent to us by fax or e-mail. We will be back again on Monday, 29 November 2010, and are looking forward to receiving your call. Thank you very much for your understanding in advance. R+M is at your disposal at the turn of the year We would like to inform you that R+M is opened at the turn of the year. Please note that there are two exceptions - on 24 and 31 December 2010 we think that we also deserve a little break. On all other days during the public holidays a skeleton crew is reachable from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. This is very good for you as you have the opportunity to forward every enquiry to us so that you do not have to collect everything and wait for the day on that we are back again. Furthermore, please take note of the fact that Suttner is closed in the time from 23 December up to and including 31 December 2010. They will be back again on 3 January 2011 and be pleased to assist you. Thank you very much for your attention. Public holidays in Germany in 2011 If you cannot reach us some day there is only one explanation for it. Due to a public holiday in North Rhine-Westphalia our company is closed. As a matter of principle we will be at your disposal the next working day and are looking forward to having the pleasure of serving you. 02 Rubber hose bend restrictor in wave design - a tremendous range of colours! Our hose bend restrictor made out of elastomer is available in black, blue, grey and yellow. Which colour would you like to have? TPE is a special material which is substantially more UV- and ozone-resistant than usual rubber. The hose bend restrictor very bendable and also flexible at low temperature is equipped with a lip that engages behind the crimp cartridge and avoids any loosening. A temperature resistance of at least 100 °C is guaranteed. Furthermore, it is characterized by a very smooth surface structure, oil and abrasion resistance. The black and yellow versions are recommended to be used for outdoor applications. The blue and grey hose bend restrictor is especially designed for being used inside as for example in the food industry. It is generally phthalate-free as well as chlorine- and grease-resistant - please use the yellow model for applications with poultry fats! The hose bend restrictor is also resistant to the most common cleaning agents. Our enclosed data sheet gives you further information about the rubber hose bend restrictor in wave design. 03 Elbow swivel ST-322- especially designed for hose reels The new elbow swivel ST-322 completely made out of stainless steel is especially designed for the integration into hose reels. A high resistance to pressure and spacious cross-sections were absolute requirements. The highly permissible pressures make a use with almost all common high pressure units possible. Due to the spacious and free passes it is the ideal rotor in the food industry, especially when using medium pressure foam units operated by compressed air. The storage and sealing technology is outstanding. Contrary to usual swivels in hose reels these two decisive factors are now independent of each other in order to achieve a long durability. The radial bearing is given by an especially floating element and a two-part packing set is responsible for the sealing of the axle within the joint. In combination with the roller-burnished surfaces this guarantees an easy rotatability, low abrasive wear as well as a maximum permanent temperature of the medium of 120 °C. automechanika in Frankfurt - our 4th participation takes place in 2012 The fixed date for the next edition from 18 up to and including 23 September 2012 has already been noted down. Our participation this year was by far the most successful automechanika for us ever. It is remarkable that we are in the position to say this after only 2 months. The quantity of new contacts was above average, the quality of the enquiries received is very satisfactory and finally the most pleasing fact is that many of our customers came to visit us at our stand in order to talk about future projects and to familiarize themselves with our novelties. It was a pleasure for us to welcome you and we really enjoyed talking to you. The top sellers at the automechanika were the following: CARWASH COMFORT - the new hose wonder in self-service washing bays. If you have not heard about it yet, it`s high time! We arrived at home and are very satisfied so that we devote ourselves to the post processing phase. We have already started doing our homework as Your requirements are our strengths!

Clean2010 in Dubai - the best decision We would say it this way: All beginnings require the right feel and much patience. It was the best decision to be presented as exhibitor on the spot. By building up our mobile booth in an attractive design we succeeded in having a professional participation on a small area. There are several products such as the easyclean365+ microfibre cloth (pdf-file), our floor cleaner (pdf-file) and the foam- and disinfectant unit ST-163 which have really aroused the interest of many visitors. We are pleased about the fact that already existing contacts have been intensified. Moreover, we have had the opportunity to get in touch with many new and very interesting potential buyers. We reached home again and can tell you that we received an impression, gained experience and returned with a lot of concrete enquiries. Now we take the time to think about how to realize our aim to open up this market step by step. One thing for sure: It was worth going on a trip to the Middle East!

05 Have you already known? ...that R+M / Suttner provides you with a safe view. The accident prevention regulations of the Employer`s Liability Association regarding "the use of high pressure cleaner" (BGV D15) and "tasks with liquid jets" (BGV D26) prescribe that adequate eye and face protection have to be worn in case of an operating pressure of 25 bar and more as well as if liquids shall reach a working temperature of more than 50 °C. In order to choose the right safety goggles the risks within the working environment have to be assessed in advance. In the majority of cases mechanical risks are caused by tasks with liquid jets as particle fly around and kinetic power is formed. We would like to protect you against mechanic risks by offering you a range of safety spectacles. In case of additionally chemical risks we recommend to use safety goggles, flip-up face shields or visor. These are particularly employed in the food industry, car wash or for example in the concrete and waste recycling industries. Wearing comfort, weight and design are getting more and more important regarding the acceptance of protection goggles. The chosen model should enclose the eyes at the best. By means of the optic quality class 1 according to the European standard EN 166 distortion-free seeing is guaranteed at any time. All protection goggles are equipped with anti-fog, scratch-proof and antistatic polycarbonate lens. This material protects you against UVA- and UVB radiation.
