01 News

New division of our indoor service In our last newsletter 01-2007 we informed you that we have revised the division of our field service at the beginning of 2007 in order to optimize our service for you. After having seen that the changes in the division of our field service were a good decision we have also reassigned the field of activity of our indoor service. With effect from today the new division of our indoor service is in force.

02 High pressure cleaning hoses GOLDEN-A & Superball GOLDEN-A - black high pressure hose for extreme cleaning applications GOLDEN-A - that’s our 2SC compact high pressure hose with two layers of braid wire and an excellent abrasion-resistant cover. This high pressure hose is designed for cleaning applications on rough floors which must be very non-abrasive. The GOLDEN-A is used in the field of application for which usual high pressure hoses are not suitable. Due to a newly developed surface treatment and the fact that the cover has an additional coating made out of plastic this hose is a product of superior quality. The inner as well as the outer layer are made out of synthetic rubber and they are reinforced by means of two steel braid wires. This top quality offers a great tensile strength and assures that the GOLDEN-A is resistant to abrasion, oils, ozone and weathering. Moreover, our high quality hose is suitable for a temperature from -40 up to +100 °C. It can also be used for applications of up to +125 °C but this employment extremely reduces the rating life. The GOLDEN-A is available with a nominal diameter of 8, 10 and 12. With an operating pressure of 310 bar for a nominal diameter of 12, of 375 bar for a nominal diameter of 10 and of 400 bar for a nominal diameter of 8 this hose even surpasses the pressure specifications of EN 857. Superball - blue high pressure cleaning hose with protective balls The Superball is a 1SN high pressure hose with one braid wire and lastingly assembled protection balls. This high pressure hose is specially used for cleaning applications in swimming baths and in the food industry e.g. canteen kitchen and slaughter houses. The assembled protection balls enormously simplify the application of the Superball. As these protection balls positively slide on the hose there is hardly any friction between the hose and the floor. The existing space assures that there is a free water flow under the hose. Moreover, it is very easy to pull the hose around any corners. As a consequence the outer cover of the Superball does not get worn out that easily and therefore a longer rating life is guaranteed. In fact we are talking about a sprucer and more hygienic hose suitable for professional cleaning applications. The Superball is available with a nominal diameter of 10. This high pressure hose is suitable for a temperature of up to 150 °C and for a working pressure of 276 bar at the most. Both high pressure hoses are presented in our current catalog 2006-07 on page 90.

03 Suttner high pressure spray gun ST-1500 for 25 years - a success story Do you not have difficulties in stating ten products which have been sold well on the market for more than 20 years? Perhaps, you are thinking of Uhu all-purpose glue, Aspirin, the hankie Tempo, Persil or of the VW Beetle. The steadily decreasing life cycle of a product reflects the consumer’s wish to react promptly to new demands and to satisfy them in new or already existing products on the market. On the one hand these innovations are desired and very important and on the other hand they are causing difficulties. If we asked you to get an original filter for the washing machine manufactured by AEG in the year 1998 we are sure that it would not be that easy for you. We are very proud of having a product such as the Suttner high pressure spray gun ST-1500 in our range which has been sold successfully for 25 years. At the beginning - in 1982 - it was just a small project concerning powerful high pressure cleaners which turned out to be a real success. To this day more than 3.75 million units of the ST-1500 have been produced and sold to customers coming from 70 countries. We will continue the success story ST-1500 as long as there is a demand for this product.

04 Fair dates 2007 We are represented at the following fairs: United Kingdom: Birmingham The Cleaning Show 2007 Hall 9 Stand P20 13 - 15 March 2007 www.cleaningshow.co.uk The biggest event in the UK`s cleaning calendar takes place in Birmingham (UK) from 13 to 15 March 2007. Our British agency G & S Services coming from Penrith will be represented with its own stand at the above-mentioned event in order to demonstrate its products to potential buyers. As this is also a good opportunity for us to promote the demand for our entire range of products we visit them at their stand P20 in hall 9 on 14 March 2007. All British customers of G & S Services could come to this stand in order to speak about running projects with the responsible person. Moreover, they could inform themselves about all novelties manufactured by R+M / Suttner. The Cleaning Show is one of the most distinguished events in the cleaning industry, running for over 20 years it continually promotes and draws leading innovators from around the cleaning arena. Organised every two years, The Cleaning Show has demonstrated just how effective a well-targeted, industry-supported exhibition can be. This fair is Eurasia`s number one OEM and aftermarket event bringing the major players in the industry together, as well as providing opportunities for small and middle enterprises to step up in the market. The international participation at automechanika 2005 was stronger than ever. The event featured 535 exhibitors from 31 countries and the visitor attendance grew by 20 % with 22.615 attendees from 72 countries around the world. This year`s automechanika Istanbul 2007 will focus on the following product groups: Repair & Maintenance, Parts & Systems, Service Station & Car Wash and Accessories & Tuning. „Petroleum“ Istanbul, the leading international trade fair for Petroleum Upstream and Downstream Equipment, Technology and Services will be held concurrently. The autopromotec is one of the most important fairs for car maintenance and Car Wash world wide. The exhibit area offers eleven exhibition halls on a covered area of 100,000 square metres and an open air exhibit area of 10,000 square metres. There have been 1,107 exhibitors displaying their products manufactured in more than forty foreign countries at the autopromotec in 2005. It is expected that more than 100,000 trade visitors come to see this exhibition this year. We are looking forward to a successful participation at the autopromotec.
